TAICHUNG, TAIWAN (May 7, 2012) -- Bio-medical Carbon Technology, a leading global wound dressing developer and manufacturer, announced today it received Class II clearance from the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) for its BCT Silver Bandage. The bandage, which comprised silver-coated activated carbon fiber cloth and can treat a board range of wound types, adds an adhesive layer to the BCT Antimicrobial Dressing for easier dressing application while provides the same antimicrobial activities. The BCT Silver Bandage comes with three product lines: elastic, waterproof and self-adhesive post-surgical dressing especially for treatment to surgical wounds.
