BCT (Coorganizer) Wound Managment and Prevention Workshop

BCT (Bio-medical Carbon Technology) along with Taiwan Association of Critical Care Nurses and Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital hosted Wound Management and Prevention Workshop in first floor conference room II at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. The content of the workshop focuses on wound management, and invited Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Nursing Department associate director Chen Li Chin to present the opening remark. The workshop course content includes:All in One Care for Diabetic Foot (Lin Cheng Wei-Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism attending doctor), Bedsore Treatment and Care (Lin Bao Yuan,Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Plastic Surgeon), Wound Revascularization (Ke Bo Re-Linkou Chang Geng Memorial Hospital Division of Cardiovascular Surgery attending doctor), Leg Ulcer wound care(Chang Yu Ling-Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital department of cardiac surgery RN), Acute Wound Clinical Care and Dressing Application (Lin Qiu Yu RN, Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Division of Plastic Surgery), Wound Care and Clinical Care Sharing (Yang Hui Mei, RN, Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Division of Endocrinology & Metabolism). Over 150 people attended the workshop, together with wound care education from wound care professionals and products developed by BCT: Antimicrobial Dressing, Silver Bandages, Occlusive Wound Dressing, Scar Sheet, Scar Gel, etc, it has raised the quality of wound care for patients. BCT products characteristics include shorten wound healing time, infection control and elimination, lighten scars, and can be used in acute wounds, chronic wounds and scars. Products are currently being sold in major hospitals and pharmacy chain in Taiwan, and products have been exported to United States, China, and Southeast Asia.
