BCT Participates in 35th 2014 MEDICA & COMPAMED in Düsseldorf, Germany

Bio-medical Carbon Technology (BCT) participated in the 2014 MEDICA & COMPAMED on November 12 – 15, 2014 held in the Düsseldorf Messe Exhibition Center. The MEDICA & COMPAMED is a world-renowned comprehensive medical and medical supply trade fair. It is known as the world’s largest international fair for hospital and medical supply. It is a leading medical and medical supply trade fair in the world with its irreplaceable size and impact. More than 3600 companies from over 130 countries and regions participate annually. The international trade fair attracts the best talents and companies in the industry seeking trade opportunities, including suppliers and buyers of medical instruments and pharmaceutical products, health authorities and healthcare professionals. With more than one hundred thousand visitors participating every year, this grand international gathering brings together technology, commercial trade and information industries.

During the fair, Bio-medical Carbon Technology presented the following products: KoCarbonAg series, KoCarbon series, KoCare series. These advanced wound dressing series are used primarily in acute and chronic wounds, such as: diabetic foot, pressure sores, infectious ulcer wounds, surgical wounds, scar care and other home care. Thanks to the special patented material which contains silver activated carbon fiber, these dressings can effectively kill bacteria and shorten the duration of wound healing time. During the exhibition, Bio-medical Carbon Technology was well received in terms of the uniqueness and effectiveness of its biomedical products. BCT has also received U.S. FDA 510(k) approval in April 2014 and entered the markets in homecare hospitals in various states with its own brand products.
